Kundalini yoga is soft, gentle, and graceful, designed to create a connection with your divine consciousness and the soul of your child. Kundalini is the rising force and potential.
Yoga helps to connect with the gentle energy of motherhood and to calm the mind. It is very important to be present in your body, to listen to your body, and allow its inherent wisdom to take care of nurturing your child.
Yoga is a great preparation for childbirth.
In a yoga class:
• Meditate – to stay centered, it’s good to train your mind so that you can cope and come back to yourself, even when everything feels overwhelming.
• Breathe – breathing is the fastest way to connect with yourself, and it’s crucial to breathe deeply every day to maintain the correct oxygen levels in the body. Deep breathing during childbirth is essential to help the baby be born softly and naturally.
• Kriyas – it’s important to stay connected to your energy and train your body to be strong and resilient. We do exercises for the pelvic floor muscles, back, hips, legs, and arms.
• Sing mantras – singing is the best way to bless the child in the womb and connect with yourself.
• Dance – to feel the joy of flowing movement and soothing music.
• Relaxation – it’s good to know how to relax your body and live without stress and tension. During childbirth, it's essential to gather strength and rest as much as possible between contractions.
• Chat and drink tea
Individual yoga at a time and place that suits you.
