Rebozo technique

Historically, the Rebozo is a handcrafted long scarf, passed down from mother to child and from midwife to midwife.

In addition to its beautiful appearance, the scarf is known for its healing properties. It can be used during pregnancy for massage, to support the body during labor, to cope with contractions, and also post-birth for carrying the baby.

In Spanish, Mexican midwives call the Rebozo technique Manteada. The technique is suitable for everyone, providing relaxation, stress relief, and helping to calm, balance the body, and improve overall well-being.

Rebozo involves gentle movements and rhythmic rocking, resulting in:

• Relaxation of the uterine and lower abdominal muscles
• The baby turning into the best position for pregnancy and birth
• Deep relaxation for the woman during pregnancy and childbirth

The Rebozo session lasts 60 minutes and costs 50 €.
